We have set up a new process control system (AQUA PROVI from BITControl) at the Ruwertal wastewater treatment plant. The control system products from various manufacturers offer almost all the functions I need for good operation and high process transparency.
The decisive factor is how carefully and with how much dispatch the system is set up. It is also important that the system is open so that new tools and third-party products can be easily integrated.
BITControl combines process engineering, electrical engineering and IT. It is important to us that all the information required for efficient operation is made available, processed and visualised. This applies to energy, resources and cleaning performance.
The process images are compiled in such a way that process engineering correlations become visible. The data is processed using linked tools such as PROVI ENERGY.
In Ruwer, the plant is operating very well. Remaining optimisation potential can now be easily identified with the energy analysis in accordance with DWA-A 216 via PROVI ENERGY.
