On Friday, 18 October 2019, the 7th Eifel Wastewater Day took place at the reopened Eifeler Hof in Kyllburg. Gunnar Krannich, Managing Director of AV Mittlere Mümling, spoke about regional utilisation strategies in the Odenwald. In his lively presentation, he spoke about the "treasure" in sewage sludge, which can be utilised through various process engineering measures.
Dr Martin Michel, Managing Director of AV Ochsenfurt, presented the development of a decentralised strategy for sewage sludge incineration and touched on the topic of phosphorus recovery. After a short break, Michael Jakob from the RLP Energy Agency summarised the funding opportunities offered by the municipal directive specifically for the wastewater sector. All presentations can be downloaded from our homepage.
The professional exchange was followed by a celebration to mark the company's 20th anniversary. Dr Horst Lenz, President of the RLP Chamber of Engineers, read out a very personal greeting and presented the two Chamber members Norbert Meyer and Brigitte Jegen with a certificate. Dr Barbara Jörg from the MUEEF then read out a greeting from the Minister of the Environment, Ulrike Höfgen. Norbert Meyer then gave an entertaining presentation on the company's history. Then we celebrated, ate, drank and talked. We are delighted that so many people accepted our invitation and that the comments on the party were consistently positive. Thank you very much for being there, for the good wishes and the gifts. Here's to continued good co-operation and partnership!
