BITControl has been organising events with practical topics for operators of wastewater treatment plants since 2005. On 16.07.2015, the Eifel Wastewater Day in Kyllburg at the Hotel Eifeler Hof.
Almost 80 experts from wastewater treatment plants in the states of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia took part.
Many of the region's engineering firms were also represented, as were a number of equipment suppliers.
The Eifel Wastewater Day began with a presentation of the Eifel Energy Network project by Mr Müller and Mr Welsch (KNE, Trier municipal utilities).
This was followed by specialist presentations on the topics of energy efficiency and optimising the operation of wastewater treatment plants. In between, there was time for questions, discussions and talks in a good atmosphere.
