New Update: AQUA DESIGNER 9.2 with new engineering functions

Important engineering functions have been added to the AQUA DESIGNER planning tool. The machine and equipment databases have been revised and expanded. In addition, databases for strip diffusers, disk diffusers and tube diffusers are now also available for the selection and dimensioning of aeration technology. An important side effect is that operation has been made simpler and clearer.

Energy Analysis according to DWA-A 216
New version PROVI ENERGY 3.0

With PROVI ENERGY, the most important results of an energy efficiency analysis according to DWA-A 216 or a potential study according to the municipal directive can be generated automatically at any time from the data of your process control system for a selectable period of time. See PROVI ENERGY.

Already in 2014 BITControl has introduced a quality management system. In June 2020, the repeated recertification by TÜV Rheinland took place. The auditor certified that we adequately maintain and implement an effective QM system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

Membrane System according to DWA-M 227
New functions: Machine list, Measuring Point List and Flow Diagram

AQUA DESIGNER has been on the market for 20 years and is one of the few design tools for sewage treatment plants that has been continuously adapted to the current DWA guidelines. After a version with the new DWA-A 131 of June 2016 was already available in 2016, which is also integrated into the SBR design, the DWA-M 229-1 of September 2017 was also added in spring. At the end of 2018, valuable additional engineering tools were completed.

Exchange of experience with Iraq

On 28 and 29 September 2018, a training on the design software AQUA DESIGNER and the basics of wastewater treatment took place in the BITControl rooms. The training was carried out by Dipl.-Ing. Norbert Meyer for a wastewater expert from Iraq. This also resulted in a lively exchange of experiences.

AQUA AERO, on the other hand, concentrates on the process engineering design of the aeration technology. Conversion to ISO 9001:2015 successfully implemented

BITControl changed the quality management system to the current ISO 9001: 2015 standard in April 2018. The certification was carried out by TÜV Rheinland. In advance, the mission statement, policy and strategy were adapted. We have analyzed and partially revised all processes. So we are even closer to the requirements of the customer and other interested parties. Even though the certification in our business is rather uncommon, we are sure that the QM system will set standards and improve our services.

Two SBR plants for 6,000 and 36,000 PE are planned by BITControl for the Lagos State Wastewater Management Office. The implementation of the system is accompanied by an intense schooling of the engineers of the LSWMO.
